This thesis investigated how work and commute hours impact what and where people eat and examined the role of 20-minute neighbourhoods. Findings suggested long work-related time demands are linked to more out-of-home food consumption. Healthier, local food purchasing was observed in 20-minute neighbourhoods but their ability to mitigate negative impacts of work-related time demands on food behaviours appeared limited.
