Investigating novel stabilization treatments for economical polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fibre manufacture

This thesis investigates novel stabilization treatments for economical polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fibre manufacture. Findings from the different studies undertaken during the course led to the development of technologies responsible for significant cost reduction of carbon fibre manufacture.
