Investigating the role of ADAMTS proteoglycanases in influenza virus immunity

This thesis investigated the role of the ADAMTS family of zinc proteinases in influenza virus pathogenesis, and the immunological response following infection. Studies established and characterised a novel murine model of infection and identified ADAMTS enzymes as potential future therapeutic targets for the treatment of influenza virus infections.
