Investigation and Development of Optimum Energy Systems from Municipal Solid Waste through Modelling Gasification Process

This research investigated the scope of energy conversion from municipal solid waste (MSW) using gasification process. A gasification model is developed and simulated further to explore and identify the key operating factors to improve MSW gasification performance. The results showed environmental and economic advantages over coal gasification and landfill.
