Investigation of Ionic Liquid Electrolytes and Sodium Metal Anodes

This study focuses on the examination of ionic liquid electrolytes for high energy density sodium metal batteries, evaluating the electrolyte physicochemical and electrochemical properties, cycling performance of sodium metal electrodes, full cell cycling as device prototypes, formation of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) and post cycling surface analysis.
