Joint effects of selective mating and ecology on the persistence of polymorphism and the divergence of sexually selected traits

The aim of my study is to understand how mate choice interacts with various ecological processes and affect the persistence of polymorphism and divergence in sexually selected traits. I identify specific conditions which determine whether or not a polymorphism in sexual traits is likely to persist or likely to result in divergent fixation and loss.
