Language, power and ruling relations in vocational education and training

This research project explored the complex and excluding language used in national Training Packages, regulatory texts that govern the Australian Vocational Education and Training sector. It concluded that these texts establish positions of power which give assessors and auditors, rather then employees, authority over decisions about local workplace practice.<p></p>
