This thesis investigated direct laser deposition process parameters using high-entropy alloy claddings on Inconel 718, followed by a study of their thermal stability, oxidation resistance and tribological properties. The oxidation layer consists mainly of alumina after static tests for the different compositions and temperatures used, and it is more complex and reduces wear and friction during tribological tests.
