Life history links between family-of-origin, puberty and reproductive strategy

thesis
posted on 2017-02-01, 00:00 authored by Jernej Hribernik
This thesis investigated an evolutionary life history framework for explaining reproductive strategy development. Empirical studies identified issues with a psychometric approach and tentatively supported predicted links between early stress, accelerated puberty, insecure attachment, unrestricted sociosexuality and relationship dissatisfaction. Health implications and a potential life history approach to psychopathology were evaluated.
