This thesis identified prevalence and outcomes of early sex at odds with health policy objectives of Victoria, Australia and Washington, United States. Early sex in Victoria predicted risky sex, substance use and antisocial behaviour in adolescence. Some outcomes remained significant into young adulthood, identifying early sex as an indicator of risky trajectories.
