This research investigates the use of lubricin (PRG4), a versatile and multifunctional protein for use in biomedical applications. The primary field of study utilizes lubricin as an antifouling coating for point of care based electrochemical biosensing technologies. In addition lubricin was used as a biolubricant at an ocular-contact lens biointerface.<p></p>
