This thesis is based on interviews with 38 sexual violence service providers investigating the barriers and enablers to help-seeking for male victim-survivors of sexual violence. The findings highlight issues involving social norms; regional and remote barriers to support; the importance of improving victim-survivor trust, agency, control and accessibility; and the systemic rejection of male sexual violence victim-survivors.
