Maternal Wellbeing and Sleep Problems in Children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder

This research found associations between specific child sleep problems and maternal mental health difficulties. In addition, sleep problems in children with ADHD were predictive of later maternal mental health difficulties. No bidirectional relationships were evident between child sleep problems and maternal mental health difficulties, parenting stress or health-related quality of life.
