Mechanism of fat taste and its relationship with obesity

This study answered what the genetic mechanism is associated with the relationship between fat taste sensitivity, dietary fat consumption and obesity. The findings emphasized the need to manipulate dietary fat intake while keeping body weight constant because a limitation of prior studies was that loss of body fat may have confounded to the interpretation of the dietary intervention.
