Metal organic frameworks towards hybrid polymer nanocomposite applications

This thesis investigated Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) in the development of hybrid polymer nanocomposite applications. The inherent properties of MOFs were enhanced using a novel functionalization technique and MOFs were then used alongside graphene and recycled glass fibre to develop thermoset and thermoplastic-based polymer nanocomposites with multifunctional characteristics.
