Modelling structure/property relationships of carbon fibre reinforced polymer composites

This PhD research focused on development of computational procedures to design and test polymer/carbon fibre composites, which have been widely used in the aerospace and automotive industries. These findings have progressed our understanding of how these composites behave under thermal and mechanical deformation at molecular level.
