thesis
posted on 2023-11-27, 04:28 authored by Gypsy O'Dea
This thesis examined the emotional bond between mother and infant in the first year of life. Mother-infant bonding emerged as an important predictor of infant development, over and above the effects of concurrent maternal depression, anxiety, or stress. Overall, findings highlight mother-infant bonding and maternal psychological distress as key modifiable factors important to infant development.
