Mother: Spectres of the Post-Industrial Narrative

This thesis examined intergenerational trauma occurring in deindustrialising communities, using Geelong as a specific case study. The research and novella explored how a poetics can be devised to reflect vacant spaces and cities, memory, the corporeal and land based trauma, and the complexities of post-industrialism.
