Multimorbidity Management Among First-Generation South Asian Migrants in Australia

This thesis explored the healthcare experiences of South Asian migrants with multiple long-term illnesses (also known as multimorbidity) living in Australia through a systematic review of international literature and interviews with first-generation, South Asian migrants with multimorbidity. The findings illuminated how systemic barriers to meaningful communication affected South Asian migrants' experiences of receiving care within the Australian healthcare system.
