This research identified risk factors related to malnutrition and assessed the effect of a multiple-micronutrient supplement on reducing the double burden of malnutrition in Vietnamese school-aged children. It found that multiple-micronutrient supplementation improved child micronutrient status and cognitive function but had no effect on growth or reducing adiposity or morbidity.
