Phytophthora cinnamomi is a plant pathogen causing the disease known as “root-rot” with an incredibly diverse host range causing widespread devastation to agriculturally significant crops internationally. The thesis explores the viability of Nanoclay as a means to deliver the antifungal agent phosphite to plants for the control of Phytophthora.
