This research explores the human-centric cybersecurity perspective in the usage of national digital identity systems (NDIDs). Security, flexibility, usability, privacy, cultural factors, and perceived risk significantly affect usage, while low cybersecurity awareness and trust hinder usage. The study validates essential usage determinants with potential cross-cultural applicability in cybersecurity.
