thesis
posted on 2005-01-01, 00:00 authored by Susan J. King
This grounded theory study explored the illness experience of twenty-five people diagnosed with MND. Analysis elicited the illness as "ongoing change and adaptation". Further that, in the absence of any guidelines on how to live with the disease, participants made decisions and choices about life based on maintaining their personal integrity. It was "hard work".
