Neighbourhood environment, physical activity and adiposity among adolescents in India

This study examines the role of neighbourhood environment for physical activity and adiposity among adolescents in India. The thesis highlights the importance of parental influences in influencing or restricting adolescent physical activity; the importance of safety perceptions like stranger danger and road crossing safety, and using specific strategies for girls.
