Neurophysiological Predictors of Variability in Response to Theta Burst Stimulation

thesis
posted on 2024-11-17, 22:58 authored by Andris Cerins
This research investigated variability in the neuromodulatory effects of theta burst stimulation applied to the human motor cortex. The latency and amplitude of motor response was used to infer the neuronal populations activated during brain stimulation. The findings point to distinct excitatory and auto-inhibitory processes that may impact plasticity induction.
