News Manufactories on WeChat: The Word Business, Censorship, and Pseudo-Journalism

This thesis is one of the first steps towards studying the internal newsroom practice of Chinese-language media in Australia that is mediated by WeChat - the primary Chinese digital platform. Platform backend-in and traceback methods have been invented to explore news production, revenue model, censorship, and tensions with Australian national media.
