Nurses' Experiences of an Electronic Medical Record Implementation: A Mixed-Methods Study

thesis
posted on 2024-10-10, 00:11 authored by Rebecca Jedwab
This research explored, measured and compared nurses' motivation, work engagement, satisfaction, well-being and experiences pre- and post-implementation of an electronic medical record system. Motivation was the main behavioural driver for nurses, and as key clinical stakeholders and end-users, nurses must be included in all implementation stages, ongoing assessment and optimisation.
