Nutrient contribution to hyper-eutrophic wetlands in Perth, Western Australia

This research identified that the nutrients found in the sediments of a series of Perth wetlands exert a major influence on the extent and regularity of algal blooms that occur in the wetlands. Various catchment management strategies and a conceptual computer model have been recommended to assist with the control of these blooms.
