Organic Powder Printing: Material Characterisation and 3D Printer Development

An organic powder printer was designed, manufactured, and evaluated. Initial studies were conducted on silk powder focusing on behavioral characteristics and particle binding methods. The manufactured organic powder printer was able to print novel customisable silk constructs, unique in their material and construction.
