Patient participation in symptom management in a Chinese acute setting

This study explored the synergies between patients’ and clinicians’ perceptions and experience of patient participation in symptom management in a Chinese acute cancer care setting. The findings enriched our knowledge of the enablers and barriers to patient participation and indicated future interventions to be investigated within the Chinese acute cancer care context.
