This thesis evaluated a new scale to measure perceived victim credibility: ‘The Child Sexual Assault Victim Credibility Scale’. The evaluation confirms a five-factor model of perceived credibility and demonstrates the strong psychometric properties of the scale. The findings demonstrate that younger children are perceived as more credible than older children.
