Personalising Learning (PL) in practical physical education (PPE) remains under-researched. This study identified enablers or constrainers for enacting PL in PPE settings, pre, during and post lesson. There are links between teachers' understanding of quality teaching in the classroom and PPE. PL requires mutual responsibility by teachers and students.
