Photo-electrocatalytic membrane reactor for remediation of persistent organic pollutant contaminated wastewater

This thesis demonstrated the development of photo-electrocatalytic membrane reactor (PECMR) for the total mineralization of pollutants in wastewater. The novel and catalytic Schottky-like and heterojunction membranes employed in the PECMR system showed enhanced catalysis and simultaneous separation of the pollutants.
