Physical determinants and development of elite pace bowling performance

This thesis explored the physical determinants and development of pace bowling performance, to understand which physical qualities are important to ball release speed in elite male and female pace bowlers. This thesis found sex related differences in important physical qualities and identified several novel physical qualities that physical preparation coaches believe to be important in enhancing ball release speed.
