Precipitation behaviour in Ti-Mo microalloyed steels during isothermal holding has been investigated to understand the effect of the microalloying elements on the precipitation process. Advanced characterisation using atom probe tomography reveal a positive correlation between the precipitate and steel Mo compositions and a slow coarsening kinetics compared to TiC precipitates.
