Principalship and policy in small New Zealand primary schools

This study aimed to analyse the impact of current New Zealand support policy on small primary school principalship. It was found that teaching principals in New Zealand feel better supported now than they did in the 1990s. However, current policies to encourage small school consolidation are less successful.
