Processing, manufacturing, and characterisation of lignin-derived precursor and carbon fibres

This study strengthened the underpinning knowledge of a bio-renewable material as an alternative carbon fibre precursor towards low-cost production of carbon fibre. It created a foundation for the development of lignin precursor fibres and process routes to manufacturing the next generation of sustainable carbon fibres.<br>
