This thesis includes five publications on how virtual simulations promoting diversity and inclusion in health professional education programs can develop future health professionals' capabilities. These studies suggest that virtual simulations might be one method to promote diversity and inclusion, benefiting learners themselves and the communities they serve.<p></p>
