This study answered how progressive resistance training and balance-specific training in combination with non-invasive brain stimulation improve physical performance in people with Parkinson's disease. It showed how both methods can increase gait and functional measures. The findings pointed out how both methods can further augment corticospinal excitability and cortical inhibition in Parkinson's disease.
