Protection of Resonant Grounded Power Distribution Systems for Mitigating Powerline Bushfire

This dissertation presents a decentralized fault detection technique for resonant grounded power distribution systems to mitigate powerline bushfire. The sensitivity of the fault detection technique is enhanced by incorporating an automatic network balancing algorithm. The proposed technique will help power industries to mitigate bushfire and efficiently manage electrical faults.
