Quantifying Urban Development Intensity within a Low Carbon Transport Context

This thesis proposes a research framework for studying urban development intensity quantification and urban spatial optimisation by evaluating land-use mix, built environment variables and floor area ratio (FAR) with respect to pedestrian volume and the accessibility of low-carbon transportation.
