Recall, inferences and judgements in child sexual assault scenarios; the impact of pre-information, gender and delay

This study investigated the impact of several extra-legal factors including gender, pre-information and a time delay on memory, inferences, emotions, and legal judgements regarding child sexual abuse allegations. The findings of the study pointed to the complex and nuanced relationship between gender, emotion, perceptions of credibility and legal decision-making.
