Record Linkage in Sparse Encounter Network

This research investigated the fundamental record linkage problem in the setting of the sparse encounter network formed via human mobility. It explored the structure of the encounter network using matrix theory and performed the entity resolution task with a novel collective classification method based on probabilistic graphical models. The experiment showed high quality results and pointed to promising applications in forensic and epidemiological research.
