This thesis identifies Redemptive Hybridism in the literary modernisms continuum.  By examining for example, Woolf’s atomic saturation, Wallace’s spiritualised boredom, Hassan’s paracriticism, and Deleuze and Guattari‘s becoming, it frames a sample of the redemptively hybridising practice and theory that characterises the present post-postmodern moment and makes an exemplification in the work of ‘art-fiction’ that follows the exegesis.
