This research involved isolating and identifying microbes from the roots of plants with an understanding of the optical and electrochemical behaviour of the metabolites secreted by the microbes and then applying the microbial metabolites for solar cell application. This study gave a comprehensive understanding of microbial metabolites' optoelectronic and electrochemical behaviour for sustainable energy applications.
