This study proposed novel computational methods to assemble repetitive DNA sequences. Specifically, the author proposes new methods to solve three categories of repetitive sequence: 1) tandem repetitive sequence; 2) DNA transposon and 3) retrotransposon. The methods have practical implications in bioinformatics applications.
