The research explores climate change adaptation and resilience of smallholder agriculture in Nepal. Resilience of smallholder agriculture is empirically quantified for heterogeneous agroecosystems. Varying levels of resilience, adaptation motivation, and barriers are documented. Consultative bottom-up adaptation planning is recommended to enhance the resilience of smallholder agriculture to climatic change.
