Resin Fillet Formation in Honeycomb Sandwich Structures

This study investigated how processing parameters can aid in controlling resin flow and therefore the ability of the resin to wet out the honeycomb core of sandwich structures with prepreg carbon fibre skins. It found that the heating rate can increase the size of resin fillets on the honeycomb cell wall.
