Role of cytokine-inducible Src homology domain 2-containing protein in myelopoiesis and metabolic regulation

Immunity and metabolism are central physiological processes required to support health and are controlled by multiple proteins. This thesis investigated one called CISH, a member of the suppressor of the cytokine signaling family. Loss of CISH caused altered cytokine responses in white blood cells and enhanced appetite suppression by the cytokine leptin.
