Role of exercise in the development of bone strength during growth

Exercise during growth may increase peak bone mass; this may be achieved by participating in moderate impact exercise that includes ~400 impact per class and multi-directional movements. Furthermore, the pre-pubertal years appear to be the most opportune time for exercise to enhance bone mass, bone size and bone strength.
